This watch made a successful bid by Internet auction. It was displayed in the auction, "This watch doesn't work". Therefore, I was able to make a successful bid for this watch cheaply. However, this watch works neatly! I'm very lucky!
However, the face of this watch is sunburn feeling a little. Moreover, the bracelet in the upper part of the case of the watch cuts slightly. This watch is a good watch, but its condition is bad. There is a problem in durability to use it daily. I plan to keep it as my collection after this watch is used for several days.
'Japan' had been 'the Empire of Japan' until 1945. There was an aristocratic system also in Japan, and the Duke, the Marquis, the Count, the Viscount, and the Baron existed in the Empire of Japan age.
The Empire of Japan treated the Royal Family and the aristocrat in the Empire of Korea as an aristocrat in ｔhe Empire of Japan though the Empire of Japan annexed the Empire of Korea in 1910. They had been called 'Korean Peerage' in the Empire of Japan. Therefore at the Empire of Japan, there had been existed Korean Peerage.
The number of people of Korean Peerage is as follows.
Mr. Lee (I Gu) who was the direct line descendant at a Korean dynasty died at the hotel in Japan at July 16th. Age at death 74 years old.
Mr. Lee was the grandchild of the 26th King of Korea (At that time the Emperor of Korea). The direct line at a Korean dynasty was ended by the death of Mr. Lee.
Mr. Lee was born in Japan at 1931. The education was received in Gakushuin. He went to study to the United States in 1959, and he graduated from the M.I.T. construction department. He acted as an architect in the United States. He married a German American. And he returned to South Korea. However, he failed in the undertaking in South Korea, and had come to Japan.
As for the funeral, it is scheduled to be done in South Korea. I respectfully prays for of him.
Today Their Imperial Highness the Crown Prince and Crown Princess of Japan visit to the 2005 World Exposition, Aichi, Japan. Her Imperial Highness the Crown Princess Masako had been sick for a long time. Therefore a local visit of official duties by Her Imperial Highness the Crown Princess Masako has been after an interval of eight months of one year.
Her Imperial Highness the Crown Princess Masako's physical condition is not complete yet. However I think that I would like Her Imperial Highness the Crown Princess Masako to hold out as Imperial Family's Noblesse Oblige.
It is a quadrangle watch this time though it was a round-shaped watch up to now. It is does a man and is wonderful. However, the problem occurred in immediate purchase this time. It is necessary to wind the winding knob because this watch is a hand winding type and to wind the spring. However, please see the above photograph. The winding knob of this watch has in the case. Therefore, the winding knob is not at all turned easily. I put power and rolled the winding knob many times. As a result, the spring cut, and the clock has stopped. There might not have been such trouble if the winding knob had been exposed outside of the case. The hand winding type watch that has not exposed the winding knob outside of the case is a caution needed.
I like thin, light watch since I bought JUVENIA's watch. Recently, there is a brand that came to like it besides JUVENIA. The brand is UNIVERSAL GENEVE.
UNIVERSAL GENEVE is a watch manufacturer that established in Switzerland in 1864. And, there is no regular import agency in Japan now though it seems to have been extolled very much in Japan as well as my favorite JUVENIA before. Therefore, regular imports of JUVENIA and UNIVERSAL GENEVE cannot be bought in present Japan. I am regrettable.
Then, I made a successful bid for the UNIVERSAL GENEVE's watch by the Auction.
Accuracy is good though it has used for these several days. It is thin, light, and it is elegant. I considerably likes it.
