White Band

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

'White band' recently famous for the Internet and media of Japan.

Written in Japanese
http://www.hottokenai.jp/

Written in English
http://www.hottokenai.jp/event/910e.html

The white band is being sold for JPY300(about US$2.7/GBP1.5/EUR2.2) by this group in Japan. Then, two million white bands are sold in Japan. However, this group in Japan doesn't send it to the poor country by using sales profit of the white band for manufacturing cost, circulation expense, and advertising expense. They are declaring as follows.

1.This is not fund-raising.
2.Our purpose is to enlighten people's ideas.
3.The country of Africa is poor because there is a debt.
4.We demand the debt pardon by the advanced country.
5.This white band is made in China.

The above information was published recently. I think that the white band that this group in Japan sells is strange. Ladies and gentlemen, what do you think?

24 HOUR TELEVISION

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

'24 HOUR TELEVISION' is broadcast by Nippon Television Network Corporation in Japan at the summer of every year.

24 HOUR TELEVISION
http://www.ntv.co.jp/24h/

This program asks the viewer for fund-raising. And, the fund-raising is used for social welfare. I think it is very good that the broadcasting station use the broadcasting frame for the contribution to the society. I think that this is 'Noblesse Oblige' of the broadcasting station. However, there are unrelated contents to a social contribution in the program. I regret this.

By the way, I have some doubts in this program.

(1) Is the sponsor income of this program used for social welfare?
(2) Is the appearance fee of the entertainer used for social welfare?

I think that this program is a good program for social welfare. I want you to hold out to this program by all means.

Blood donation

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Recently, I heard that the blood supply in Japan is awful lack.
Then, I want to do the contribution to the society, I went to donate blood.

However, I was not able to donate blood to my regret.
They said that my blood seems not to be healthy.

I thought that it is not easy to contribute to the society either.
Everyone who are health, please contribute to the society by the blood donation.
